The Color Fastness and Quality of Eco-Printed Leather with Different Types of Mordant in Natural Dyes from Mangrove Extract (Rhizophora mucronata)

This study evaluated the color fastness and crust quality of eco-printed leather using various types mordant in natural dye mangrove extract. used 20 sheepskin crusts bark experimental employed a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with different as treatments. The were Aluminum Sulfate (Al2(SO4)3), Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3), Citric Acid (C6H8O7), Ferrous (FeSO4). results showed that use (FeSO4) gave darker produced better on to dry wet rubbing value 5 (very good), washing 4-5 (good), sweat good). improved tensile strength (p= 0.078), decreased elongation 0.008), increased elasticity 0.000), cracking resistance 0.013) well more stable stitch-tear leather.
